Strange Chinese Suppliers’ Mindset…….Volume or Profit?

I always wondering why most Chinese suppliers will prefer buyers who can buy volume instead of those buyers who can give them good profit but small volume. It is a strange mindset. For example, if you are buying one thing from the supplier and the other guy buying 100 items from the same suppliers. If they can make same profit by selling either one, they still prefer to sell it to the guy who buy 100 items. Hmmm….you have any experience dealing with suppliers and feel like the same way ?  Or you have something else to share?
